Chicago Sky now has their own version of Barbie and Ken in Angel Reese and Chennedy Carter, following their victory against the Washington Mystics on Thursday. Reese contributed 16 points and 11 rebounds in the 79-71 win, while Carter emerged as the top scorer with a season-high 25 points and four rebounds.

In celebration of their triumph, the Sky's social media platform referred to the duo as 'Barbie and Chenn', acknowledging Reese's self-proclaimed nickname of 'Chi Barbie' after being drafted by Chicago. Prior to joining the Sky, the 22-year-old Reese played college basketball at LSU, where she referred to herself as 'Bayou Barbie'.

Reese and Carter faced heightened criticism earlier in the week after a tense game against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever last Saturday.
