TCU team has identified multiple strategies to achieve success.

Kansas may not resemble the powerhouse it once was in 2023-24, but the team has discovered various ways to secure victories. Their impressive backcourt, led by Dajuan Harris and Zeke Mayo, consistently delivers strong performances, while All-American center Hunter Dickinson maintains an All-Conference level of play. Dickinson recently posted a game-high 25 points in a win over in-state rival Kansas State.

On the other hand, TCU has managed to hold a 3-3 record in conference play despite being outscored 428-400. The Horned Frogs’ three victories—over Kansas State, BYU, and No. 25 Baylor—have all been by a combined margin of just eight points. TCU has fought hard in each matchup, with their only blowout loss coming against No. 12 Houston, 65-46.

The most significant statistical contrast between the teams lies in TCU's offense and Kansas' defense. The Jayhawks lead the league in scoring defense, allowing only 63.5 points per game, while TCU ranks last in scoring offense, averaging just 68.3 points per game.

TCU has homecourt advantage being 9-4 this season at home and will hope to improve that ratio against Kansas' stellar defense.
