The Vice President of Commanders has been suspended.

The Vice President of Content for the NFL Commanders has labeled Black players on the team as "homophobic" and referred to NFL players as "dumb as all hell," while also describing fans as "high school educated alcoholics."

On Wednesday, the Commanders declared the suspension of Rael Enteen, the vice president of content, following the release of a video in which he made disparaging remarks about the team's players and fans.

Enteen was recorded discussing the homophobic attitudes of certain players, describing some of them as "dumb as all hell" in a video captured by a concealed camera from O’Keefe Media during what seemed to be a date with a female employee of the organization. Additionally, Enteen characterized fans as "high-school-educated alcoholics" and "mouth-breathers."

The statement from the team reads, "The language presented in the video contradicts the values upheld by the Commanders organization. We have placed the employee on suspension while we conduct an internal investigation and will refrain from making any further comments at this moment." As noted on Enteen's LinkedIn profile, he has been employed by the Commanders since 2020 and has prior experience with the Jets and the XFL.
