The Cleveland Browns are set to utilize several running backs when they commence Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys. Jerome Ford and D’Onta Foreman are anticipated to share the majority of the carries, as both are expected to receive a comparable number of snaps while Nick Chubb gradually works his way back to full health.
Foreman is anticipated to play a significant role in the Browns' offense during his inaugural season, particularly in terms of red zone opportunities. The primary running backs will be complemented by Pierre Strong Jr., who demonstrated commendable playmaking skills in 2023. Although the specific strategy of Coach Stefanski regarding the running backs remains uncertain, it is generally believed that he will favor the player who is performing best. A crucial element of the running game will be the identity of the starting left tackle for Cleveland. It is expected that Jedrick Wills will retain his customary starting role. Additionally, there are speculations that Jack Conklin may revert to his college position due to the emergence of second-year right tackle Dawand Jones. The effectiveness of our running backs will be assessed when they face the Cowboys in Cleveland on September 8th.
